Continue your journey through Rwanda’s scenic hills to the Cyanika border for entry into Uganda. Stop for lunch in Ruhengeri, then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a misty rainforest renowned for its biodiversity.

Start early with breakfast before heading into the Bwindi rainforest for your mountain gorilla trek. Bwindi is home to mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and five other primate species, alongside over 360 bird species and 200 butterfly species.
Trekking may take 2 to 9 hours depending on gorilla movements. Enjoy an hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, guided by expert rangers.
In the afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmy community, Uganda’s indigenous forest dwellers, and learn about their traditional lifestyle, songs, dances, and cultural heritage.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
